Hiking

The cottage’s location on one of the slopes of El Risco valley makes it the starting point for several walking trails suitable for all levels. A half-hour’s walk away you’ll find the Charco Azul, a magnificent waterfall formed by the waters flowing directly from the Pinar de Tamadaba.

The Best Trails

It takes half an hour to walk from the cottage to the beach. However, there are much longer and more challenging walking trails, where you can discover fascinating places: the Camino de Tirma, with an incredible view of the village El Risco or the Andén Verde beach, and a visit to the Finca de La Marquesa; a hike to Roque Faneque, a rock rising 1,027 metres from the sea and part of one of the world’s largest cliffs; and countless other hiking options, right up to the 1,444-metre-high Mount Tamadaba.
